I’m Brian Mecinas, a Phoenix-based photographer and digital content strategist focused on storytelling through vibrant imagery.

My work spans live music, hospitality, portrait, and event photography: capturing the people, environments, and moments that define brands and experiences. Whether documenting the energy of a concert, a milestone graduation, or a community event, my goal is to create images that feel authentic and lasting.

Growing up in a Zapotec culture rooted in unique, traditional songs and dances, I've developed a lifelong appreciation for the way that art and culture bring people together through shared experiences. That perspective continues to shape how I approach visual storytelling today.

Alongside my photography work, I have a background in multimedia content strategy spanning digital marketing, public relations, editorial video production, and written journalism. By day, I'm a Public Relations Coordinator at J. Lauren PR, working alongside an incredible team to elevate clients like The Global Ambassador, Fox Restaurant Concepts, and Prada.

I'm also a proud Double Devil, having earned both my Bachelor's degree ('23) and Master's degree ('25) from Arizona State University. Forks up!
